Local Perth company Entire Fire Management saw the need to upgrade their complicated, difficult to control and fault prone hydraulics to go electric and help to increase their efficiency and productivity.
Their remote-control dozer operates a mulching unit that clears undergrowth in difficult terrain. AES was engaged to undertake the full control system design and installation for the machine. The solution was an electrical control system consisting of a Scanreco Radio Remote and Cobo MC2M Controller with CAN-BUS used to communicate between the Radio Remote and Controller as well as 4 Sevcon Motor Controller Units.
AES technicians were responsible for all programming to ensure that the hardware units worked seamlessly together ad in line with the client’s specific requirements.
